A great amount of us were raised with the concept that in order for children to be successful in the world, one would need to use physical discipline to get the point straight across. Many believe that hitting children will help them to become a better person. How could using physical discipline help children to become successful? Does it not create trauma and low self-esteem in children? It is understanding that way of discipline was developed to be sure to keep children inline and keep them from failing in society. What we do not know is that, many children end up suffering from depression, isolation and lack the ability to speak up for themselves. Why not consider changing your view of using negative discipline and work on building a child’s “inner wealth.” If we discipline children in a warm and loving way, and use clear communication, then children will be able to develop love for themselves, avoid of isolation and depression.
I found that when you nurture children and discipline them in a loving way, they are able to become successful and see their “greatness” shine through. If you want your children to become successful, why not consider seeking counseling services from our agency to learn about the use of the “Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA)” that will help you to set limits in a loving way.
To your success!
